Chapter 10 - End of the Kamen Riders Part 2
In KamenConnection, CHiCA watches the video of Mark and Kit fighting via a CD in a security camera in the warehouse. CHiCA tears up, "Turn it off. I believe you." Kit tells CHiCA that he's sorry.
Kase and Len step forward, "We both are too. Our mother caused so much trouble already and we thought that this was her debt to society."
CHiCA tells them that she forgives them but their friendship will never be the same and walks out when she turns around, "I won't tell anyone what happened. It'll be our little secret."
1 WEEK LATER
All the citizens of Newlandia gather around Huy who is adjusting his laser. Eubulon contacts Huy via walkie talkie whose in a shuttle above the new world, "All clear." Huy hits a button and the laser aims for the sky. The green force-field around the new world reforms. Eubulon contacts Huy, "It's working. The force-field is re-energizing." Huy stands up and looks at the people, "It worked!" Everyone begins to cheer and hug Huy and one another.
President Drake is in his office doing paperwork when he looks up, "You're back?"
Slater smiles, "Yea. I'm back."
President Drake hugs his son, "Welcome home."
Slater laughs, "It's great to be home."
Kit is at the grave and lays flowers on Maya's grave, "I know that this ended horribly and even though I'm the one that did nothing wrong, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry that I couldn't make you happy." Kit gets a call from Kase, "Yea. I'll be right there."
Kit walks off when he stops in front of Mike's grave. Kit jogs over to Maya's grave and grabs a flower and throws it on Mike's grave and keeps walking.
Eubulon thanks the owner of a cafe for closing it down just for them. The owner smiles, "After all you and your Riders did for us? It's an honor." Kase and Len walk in with their father and Slater. Len looks around, "I guess we're the first ones here."
Eubulon looks around, "Looks like it." and hugs all four of them.
Trent and Michelle hug Slater and Eubulon, "Thanks for inviting us!"
CHiCA, Huy and Adam walk in and hug everyone, "Sorry we're a little late. Where's Kit?"
Kase looks around, "I called him and he said he's coming." when Kit runs in, "I'm here!"
Everyone sits down at a long table and pass around food and drinks when Kit gets up and and tells them that he has some words that he'd like to say. Kit picks up a glass and smiles making everyone laugh and clears his throat, "Every single one of us in this room has come such a long way. We hated each other and then we'd love each other and then we'd Vent one another." Everyone begins to laugh. Kit continues, "We were blackmailers, we were possessed and drained, we were pushed over balconies. We were enemies but now everything has come full circle. When I became a Kamen Rider, I had NO idea that I'd be signing up for this kind of drama but we made it! We defeated Xaviax, Abyss and Tazorac, our own obstacles. We've beaten the odds." Kit raises his glass, "To the new world!" Everyone smiles, "To the new world!" and clicks their glasses. Kit looks out the window at the sunset and gasps. Everyone is laughing and is having a good time when Kit sneaks out of the cafe and runs across the street.
"You remembered!"
Kit is shocked, "Maya?"
Maya nods, "Red tulips and pink roses. I remember telling you they were my favorite."
Kit goes to touch Maya but his hand goes through her, "What are you doing here?"
Maya smiles, "I'm here to say goodbye. I'm crossing over."
Kit begins to tear, "Crossing over?"
Maya smiles, "Yea. Where the grass is a million times greener and the sky is so blue, you'd go blind looking at it. I never got to say what I need to say."
Kit nods, "Whatever you want to say...I'm all ears."
Maya begins to tear, "I am so sorry that I hurt you the way that I did. I made such a mess of my life. I was in jail for almost a year and then I lied to you about my past and then I cheat on you and get pregnant and-"
Kit stops her, "You don't need to apologize. I just want to make sure that you're happy."
Maya nods, "I am. I feel so...free."
Kit tears up even more, "I'm glad."
Maya gasps, "Wow! It's so bright, Kit."
Kit is confused, "The light?"
Maya nods, "It's so beautiful." and begins to walk towards the light.
Kit begins to cry, "MAYA! Wait!"
Maya turns around, "Yes?"
Kit tells her to be careful.
Maya walks back over to Kit and wipes the tears away, "I will, Kit. Your forgiveness will make me rest in peace." and gives him a flower, "Keep this. You'll have one and I'll have one. We'll forever be connected."
Kit nods, "Thank you."
Maya nods and walks off towards the sunset, "Goodbye Kit Taylor!" and fades away.
Kit cries, "Goodbye Maya Young." when everyone comes outside. Kase runs over to him, "There you are!"
Kit wipes away the tears making Len confused, "Are you OK?"
Kit smiles, "Yea. Never been better."
CHiCA laughs, "C'mon, let's get our eatin' on!"
Huy and Adam laugh, "Yes! I agree!"
Everyone begins walking back to the cafe while the sun begins to set, "Since we're no longer Kamen Riders, what are we going to do now?"
Eubulon smiles, "Sleep?"
Everyone cheers, "YEA!" and begins laughing.
*screen fades to black*

Eubulon smiles, "Sleep?"
Everyone cheers, "YEA!" and begins laughing.
*screen fades to black*
And that is the end of the long ride filled with drama and even more drama. Thank you for reading the trilogy of Kamen Riders: Defenders of KamenConnection, Kamen Riders: Defenders in Space and Kamen Riders: Defenders of the Wild. It has been one hectic ride that I'll never forget. Thank You.
